Around Cornwall

Perranporth and the beach are just three miles away; close
enough to be handy, far enough not to be a nuisance. The beach
is ideal for surfing and swimming, with lifeguards on duty in the
summer season. Perranporth beach is dog friendly all year
round, but you are expected to comply with the beach rules with
regards to dogs.

Centrally located in Cornwall, we are ideally placed for touring;
nowhere being more than and hour and a quarters drive (on a
clear road). We are twenty minutes from the Eden Project up the
A30 to Roche. Truro is an eight mile drive away.

Nearby and Walking

The pub in Goonhavern is a five minute walk and the village
also has a restaurant and village shop, where you can buy papers
and provisions.

The local area has many shady walks, suitable for any age
group, with nature reserves, old mining areas and iron age sites.
We can provide maps with the routes marked, so you do not lose
your way.

The dunes at Perran Sands are a popular spot for dogwalkers,
wher the remains of St Piran’s Priory still exist.
